What is the

Run Like A Mother 5K?

Celebrate Mother's Day participating in a new Ridgefield tradition.  A race for women and a celebration for all.

If you are a mother, grandmother, aunt, have a mother or are a woman that just wants to celebrate with others, this race is for you.

It is the perfect way to spend Mother's Day morning.  Run fast, jog, walk, or run to the finish line with your children.  The day is one to be shared with women of all ages.

Challenge Yourself

Change the Life of a Child

The Run Like A Mother 5K is benefiting the Hole in the Wall Camps.  The Camps are magical places where, in a nurturing, carefree, physically safe and medically sound setting, children with serious illnesses can kick back and just be kids.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut is a nonprofit, residential summer camp and year-round center serving children and their families coping with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions. Through our Camp programs, on-going outreach to hospitals and clinics, and other services for children, families and caregivers, the Camp serves more than 15,000 annually. All of our services are provided free of charge.

It is through the generosity of many friends that the programs of  The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp are made possible.

To date, more than 135,000 children from all 50 states and 32 countries have attended Hole in the Wall Camps free of charge. The dream of Paul Newman is alive and growing!
